What has he been up to after being acquitted of murder?



 BEFORE...
Born Orenthal James Simpson in San Francisco in 1947.
Joined the Buffalo Bills American football team in 1969 and in 1973 became the first player to rush for over 2,000 yards in a season.
In 1977, while married to his first wife Marguerite White, he met a waitress Nicole Brown, and a year later separated from his wife.
Retired from American football in 1979 and began a successful career as a sports presenter and also appeared in TV commercials.
He married Nicole Brown in 1985, but they separated in 1992, and Nicole filed for divorce.
He appeared in several films including the successful "Naked Gun" series, playing Nordberg.
In June 1994, Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman were brutally murdered and O. J. was charged with the murders.
The so called "Trial Of The Century" began in 1994 and in October 1995 O. J. was found not guilty of murdering Nicole and Ronald.

 AFTER...
In 1997, he was held liable for the deaths of Nicole and Ronald by a jury in a civil suit and held responsible for compensation of 8.5 million dollars to Ronalds family.
In 2000, he lost a legal battle to prevent a mini-series about his murder trial from being broadcast.
In 2001, O. J. was found not guilty of charges of road rage offences.
He still plays golf, but never at his former home course, where members informed him he was no longer welcome.
