Where are Mike, Chunk, Mouth, Brand and Data now?



 BEFORE...
"The Goonies" was released in 1985 and was directed by Richard Donner.
The plot concerns a group of kids who come across a map to "One-eyed Willy's" hidden fortune, and try to find it, while also trying to fend off a group of theives also after the treasure.
The film starred Sean Astin as Mikey, Josh Brolin as Brand, Jeff Cohen as Chunk, Corey Feldman as Mouth, and Jonathan Ke Quan as Data.

 AFTER...
Sean Astin (Mikey) recently appeared in the successful "Lord Of The Rings" trilogy of films.
Jeff Cohen (Chunk) and Jonathan Ke Quan (Data) are still good friends. Jeff works as an entertainment lawyer in Los Angeles. Jonathan has been working both as an actor and as a stunt co-ordinator in films such as "The One" and "X-Men".
Corey Feldman (Mouth) still appears regulary in films.
Josh Brolin (Brand) announced his engagement to British actress Minnie Driver in 2001, and is still appearing regulary in films - his recent work includes "Best Laid Plans" and "Hollow Man".
In 2001, director Richard Donner confirmed that a sequel is on it's way, re-uniting the original cast.

"The Goonies" was written by Chris Columbus who also wrote "Gremlins" and went on to direct the first two Harry Potter films.
